Rare Pond Studios is an independent film studio crafting escapist stories that feel like peering into an alternate world. We work across live-action and 2D / 3D animation, blending mediums to build immersive little universes — from a retired superspy breaking out of her nursing home to a surreal vision of Heaven and Earth.
Founded by writer-director Jack Carlsen, the studio is built on a simple idea: every project is a window into somewhere else. We develop, shoot, animate, and finish our films in-house, and we love collaborating with other creatives to bring ambitious worlds to life.
